BH Estates wants to build a 24-hour plant off Carrowreagh Road, Dundonald, that turns digestate into fertiliser pellets. The application, lodged in June 2025, is undecided and has drawn 457 objections. We read the planning file and built an independent air-quality model: run as described, the plant adds very little to what people breathe; run badly, the nearest homes on Carrowreagh Road would see a meaningful rise in fine dust and night noise.
