### Titanic Belfast

A nine-gallery museum standing on the slipways where Titanic was actually built. Entirely indoors, which makes it the default answer to a wet day in Belfast - and the free thing outside it is the part most visitors walk straight past.

Cost: Paid admission, and one of the more expensive days out in Northern Ireland. The ticket includes SS Nomadic, the last surviving White Star Line ship, berthed a few minutes' walk away - a good many people never use that part of the ticket, which is a waste of what they have already paid for. | How long: Two to three hours for the galleries, plus another forty minutes if you do SS Nomadic properly. | Parking: A large pay car park beside the building, and it is the easy option. It is often cheaper and barely slower to leave the car in the city centre and take the Glider, particularly at weekends.
